Reflect the city in one day. Identity for the PAINT QUICK NATIONAL COMPETITION
IV Edition of the Paint Quick National Competition City of Murcia
The Trinitario Casanova Foundation commissioned us to design the identity of the IV Edition of the Paint Quick National Competition City of Murcia.
The work included the design of the poster and arts for press, digital, and the scenography in which awards were to be awarded at the end of the day.
At Paparajote we thought as a image concept to play with the idea of some brushes. These, of different caliber, make up an M of Murcia on a white and clean poster as a canvas.
The identity of the event was reinforced with the design of some corporative shirts for the participants. Also the design of some brushes of 2 meters and a half height, like corporeal elements, was considered. These elements made visible the three emblematic points of the competition: The Plaza Belluga, The Plaza de Santo Domingo and the Plaza de las Flores.
From 9 in the morning dozens of painters from all over Spain came to participate in this painting competition. The artists moved freely in all the city. The jury presided over by the painter Jose Mª Falgas Rigal and formed by members of the Trinitario Casanova Foundation and the Association of Painters of Murcia APIMUR as well as professors of the Faculty of Fine Arts, gave three awards and ten selections.
The scenography for the awards was at Avda of La Libertad, with great expectation and affluence of public.
The result has given rise to an exhibition: Murcia 28,880″at the recently opened headquarters of the Trinitario Casanova Foundation, at the Gran Via of Murcia.
Paparajote has also been the study in charge of the design of the concept of the expo, as well as of the image and the catalogue.
